Reflection: The Holy Trinity and the Church: the truth will set you free - Fr John O'Neill

Amid the debate over the shortage of priests, there is one short-term solution which is always hit on the head, the moment it is mentioned - and that is the proposal to bring in priests from overseas. "We don't want foreign priests coming in here," sums up the attitude.

I didn't realise there were so many advocates of the One Nation policy within the Catholic Church.

In the past, certain bishops and priests spoke out against Pauline Hanson and her racist policy. To prove their sincerity, the same men should now openly call for foreign clergy to help the Church in Australia.
