Reflection: Hail Mary, Full of Grace - Anne Lastman

In the February issue, Dr Frank Mobbs wrote, "Mary had no idea that Jesus could perform miracles when she told Him that the wine had run out at the wedding [feast in Cana]."

If that were true, one wonders why she bothered telling him?

She did, after all, know that He was God, as she had been told by the Angel Gabriel at the Annunciation, by her cousin Elizabeth, and by Jesus himself when he was found in the Temple.
