Saint Giuseppe Moscati, was born in Benevento, a town 50km north-east of Naples, Italy, in 1880, the seventh son in a family of 9 children.

Giuseppe’s father was a lawyer and magistrate, and his mother Rosa de Luca dei Marchesi di Roseto was of noble birth.
