J.W. McMahon (Letters, March AD2000) can rest assured that he is not the only one who has wondered whether Bob Santamaria qualified for consideration as a suitable candidate in the long line of sons and daughters of the Church who practised virtue to an heroic degree.

If he did not, he must at least have come very close.

We should pray that the Almighty will make his will known.
