I very much appreciated the account of Peter Gallagher's life by his daughter Maria Rankin (February AD2000). He devoted himself to the spreading of the Faith through the Catholic Evidence Guild in Sydney.

Some years ago I attended a talk on the Guild by a priest who had been closely involved in its work, and who knew both Frank Sheed and Peter Gallagher. He expressed his opinion that Peter Gallagher's mind as a theologian was equal to that of Sheed.
