I would like to congratulate the writer of the article 'Did Vatican II recommend the removal of altar rails?' (December-January AD2000). I support the views of the writer in condemning their removal, a view also held and strongly expressed by the late and dearly loved Msgr Meaney. May the author, M. Casey, continue to poke and prod our conscience. Keep up the good work.
