According to the UK Independent, a recent US poll has found only 39 percent of Americans supporting the legalisation of same-sex “marriage”, 42 percent opposed it, and 18 percent were neutral.

Backing for SSM may have decreased since a previous survey in April, in which 48 percent said they were in favour.

So is support for same sex marriage on the skids? Is an epidemic of common sense imminent?
