An abridged version of Pope John Paul II's recent encyclical on the Eucharist, Ecclesia de Eucharistia, has been printed in the Rockhampton diocesan monthly journal, The Review.

The abridgment is the work of Fr M. Durham (retired priest of that diocese) with two purposes in mind: to attract a wide readership of at least the main points of the encyclical; and to encourage readers to follow up by reading the full encyclical.

Fr Durham has also compiled a summary of the Pope's Apostolic Letter on the Rosary, Rosarium Virginis Mariae. Copies of both can be obtained by writing to him at PO Box 8343, Allenstown Qld 4700. Please enclose a 50 cent stamp with your request.
