Events Who's Afraid of Vatican II? Seminars October-December 2005Forty years after its conclusion, the Second Vatica Council continues to have a profound influence on the life of the Catholic Church. There is a greater diversity of views than ever about the meaning and worth of the Council. In reality, however, many Catholics have never read the Conciliar documents. In the 40th year since the Council's conclusion, Fr Glen Tattersall of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter will review the Council's teaching by re-examining and commenting on the Conciliar texts, and leading conversations on their implications. "Who's afraid of Vatican II?" will be held at St Aloysius' school, cnr Balaclava Rd and Catherine St, Caulfield North, on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-9.00pm, commencing 12 October and concluding 7 December. A donation of $50 is requested per person for the course. Inquiries and registration: 03 9532 4154, or mailto:melbourne@fssp.net Reprinted from AD2000 Vol 18 No 9 (October 2005), p. 18 |
