After reading through the points in the very fashionable agenda of the Canberra-Goulburn Synod 2004 ("Weekend Masses off for Canberra Synod", June AD2000), I came to the final point: "the establishment of Ephesus House as the Archdiocesan House of formation for our seminarians".

And I thought: Why bother? With an agenda like that, there aren't going to be any vocations.
