'Fem-speak' (letter)
C.V.Phillips

I noticed that the new revised Roman Missal will have some good improvements over the old (July, AD2000), and for that we owe praise to God.
Unfortunately, somebody, somewhere, has been conned into using "fem-speak" in the Gloria. "Men of goodwill" has been translated as "people of goodwill". This sounds so clearly ludicrous that it astounds me.
More importantly, what can we do? Cardinal Pell, in charge of the Vox Clara Committee, may be someone to address. Any other suggestions? We don't have much time.
