According to Ken Bayliss (May AD2000), Australia has three patron saints. This not correct. When Australia ceased to be a mission country under Propaganda in 1976 both St Francis Xavier and St Thérèse of Lisieux ceased to be patrons. This information can be authenticated by a Google search on the Catholic Enquiry Centre of Australia's patron saint.

I have spoken to Ken but he holds the belief that since we once had all three patron saints, that is still the situation today.
